The Fifth Annual AIDS Walk, a 10-kilometer (6.2 mile) pledge walk, will take place on Sunday, September 24 at Edgwater Park in Cleveland. Honorary Chairpersons for the '95 Walk, which officially steps-off at 1:00 p.m., are Joan and Victor Gelb. Funds raised from the Walk will support the programs of nine local organizations to meet the needs of the mony men, women, and children living with AIDS and HIV and to assist in preventing the spread of HIV and AIDS in our community.

A benefit for nine local agencies: AIDS Taskforce of Greater Cleveland The AIDS Housing Council The Free Clinic of Greater Cleveland SAMM (Stopping AIDS Is My Mission) The National Hemophilia Foundation of Northern Ohio The Open House Planned Parenthood of Greater Cleveland The Women's Center of Greater Cleveland The Living Room (a program of the Lesbian/Gay Services Center)
